Fruit Trifle

Ingredients:
Cake Base
mamon, lady fingers or broas
2-3 cups all-purpose cream, whipped with
¼ cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla
melon balls may also be added along with a sliced kiwi, and roasted almonds if desired
Fruits
1 can sweet peaches thinly sliced (reserve the syrup from the peaches)
1 can fruit cocktail
red and green seedless grapes, sliced

Syrup
simple syrup (boil 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar then refrigerate)
reserved syrup from the peaches

Procedures:
Mix the above ingredients according to he number of people you wish to serve. Whip the cream until soft peaks. Set Aside.

In a glass bowl or cocktail or wine glass arrange the trifle in different layers: first layer: mammon or lady fingers, soaked or brushed with the syrup, second layer: fruits, third layer: whipped cream.
Repeat the layering process until the container is full. Garnish with fruits and mint leaves.
