Ice Cream Pie

Chocolate crust
½ cup butter
1 ½ cup chocolate cookie crumb

Place the butter in a microwave proof bowl, melt the butter for 45 seconds or until butter is completely melted.
Add in the chocolate cookie crumb stir until well blended.
Press the cookie crumb into a 9 inch pie pan. Chill for 30-40 minutes or until firm.

Chocolate sauce
1 cup all-purpose cream
1 tbsp unsalted butter
2 ¼ cups dark chocolate, chopped in chunks

Heat the all-purpose cream and butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the dark chocolate, stirring until melted and smooth.
Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.

Ice cream filling
chocolate or vanilla ice cream, softened
½ cup chocolate morsels
½ cup chopped nuts
shards of Nestle Crunch
whipped cream, optional

In a bowl, combine Ice Cream, chocolate morsels, chopped nuts and Nestle Crunch. Spoon filing over crust. Serve pie with warm chocolate sauce and whipped cream.
